In line with its growth strategy, MicroShade has now entered into a partnership with Pilkington IGP/NSG Group in Poland.

NSG Group is the world’s largest manufacturer of glass and glazing products with manufacturing operations in around 30 countries on four continents and sales in some 105 countries. In Europe alone, the group had revenues of approximately EUR 1.85 billion for 2017.

MicroShade’s contact point for the partnership agreement is Pilkington IGP in Poland, who employs around 1,500 people across the country and offers a wide range of innovative IGU solutions for the building and construction industry in Poland as well as other European countries.

Project & Export Manager, Michael Wasowicz, from Pilkington IGP says: ”We are excited about the addition of MicroShade® to our product portfolio. We believe that this innovative solar shading solution holds great promise for the future – especially within the fields of renovation and construction of commercial property in Europe.”

Eik Bezzel, CEO of MicroShade, and his colleagues in Taastrup, Denmark, have worked towards establishing this partnership as it contributes to the company’s growth strategy: “We believe that our solution needs to be promoted and sold through partners who already have the experience and the network in order to succeed with making MicroShade® the natural choice for high-performance façades”.

The partnership covers production, sales and distribution and will enable a sales force of 40 to sell MicroShade® in 14 countries across Europe.
