Microshade underlines its green positioning at Glasstec

Finally, the long awaited Glasstec exhibition took place in Düsseldorf end September 2022 where an impressive 30.000 visitors attended.

MicroShade was present as exhibitor boasting a newly designed stand and brochures, but even more importantly; the new MicroShade® product with even better performance in energy, daylight, and view-out capability.

The company’s positioning as a provider of green technology was well received by the audience. However, this focus is not new in MicroShade, as the necessity of introducing sustainable solutions to the building industry was one of the beliefs on which MicroShade was established more than 15 years ago. It is perhaps more a case of demand having caught up with this ambition.

During the four days the exhibition lasted, the MicroShade crew was in dialogue with almost 500 visitors and not only was hundreds of business cards exchanged - many strong project leads were also the result of the efforts. The MicroShade sales team were hard at work as they were in fact put to the same task as the infamous tailors from H.C. Andersen’s fairytale, the emperor’s new clothes since they had to present to the world - something that wasn’t visible.

Nevertheless, they succeeded and the new MicroShade® was very positively received. Together with customers’ increasing demand for improved performance and well-being – it marks a new generation for sustainability measures in the façades of buildings. This did not go unnoticed among the many visitors from IGUs, glazing companies, contractors, façade builders as well as engineers, architects and owners who were happy to see a powerful solar shading solution that was not only passive and did not require maintenance – it was indeed also invisible thereby allowing an unobstructed view through the pane.

Next, MicroShade has its sights set for BAU – so stay tuned to make sure not to miss this revolution in sustainable building technology.
