At the innovative solar shading company, MicroShade, Henrik Theisler has taken over the role as CEO - leaving CTO and founder, Eik Bezzel, to concentrate on establishing the company’s product development pipeline as well as establishing its own production.
Henrik Theisler brings with him extensive experience of scaling up businesses – and has international industry experience from high value adding system sales in the building industry. He has a keen interest in technologies that can help reduce CO2-emissions and as such meet the demand in a world with an increasing need to bring forward sustainable solutions.
“Having spent several years developing the ground-breaking MicroShade Film® product, we have now reached our goal of creating a solar shading solution that outperforms alternatives. Going forward, we need a strong focus on the commercial development,” says Eik Bezzel, “So we are very happy to have Henrik join us and contribute with his experience and market insight.”
With a building industry needing to deliver on customers’ increased demands on improved indoor climate as well as reduced carbon footprints of buildings - it is necessary to implement new technologies - and the new MicroShade Film® is ideally suited for meeting this challenge.

Henrik Theisler has his theoretical background from Copenhagen Business School and London Business School and has headed business excellence processes, scale-up and turn-arounds in companies such as Nilfisk, Icopal, Vitral and d line. He is married to Cathrine and lives in Skovshoved just north of Copenhagen. Henrik started in his new position with MicroShade on September 1.
